Rehearsal? |
MacDonald Island - Staging Area ( old banquet hall )
There is a mandatory rehearsal on Monday, June 28th at 2 p.m. at MacDonald Island. Grads to assemble in the ‘Staging Room’ Signage will be in place for directions.
Required ‘Parking Passes” to enter MacDonald Island the day of the Graduation Ceremony will be handed out at the end of the rehearsal to grads who have attended the rehearsal.

Parking Pass? |
This year MacDonald Island is issuing mandatory parking passes for grads and their families. At this time, grads will be granted two parking passes to use for themselves and/or to pass on to family attending the event.
If you require additional parking passes please contact Ms. C. Dozeman either at 780-743-5800 ext 199 or by email at carolyn.dozeman@fmpsd.ab.ca. All requests will be placed on a waiting list and dealt with as fairly as possible.
Vehicles will not be granted access to MacDonald Island on the day of Graduation without the possession of this parking pass.

GRAD List? |
The Grad List has been finalized. The final list has been posted outside Main Office.
|
|
Fee? |
Grad fee of $225.00 should have been paid by now.
Unpaid fees can be paid at the Main Office by cash, debit, or credit card.
|
|
Tickets? |
As part of the grad fee - each eligible grad is entitled to receive 7 free tickets to the morning ceremonies and 7 free tickets to the grand march (include the grad and escort)
Tickets will be available for pickup starting Monday, June 07, 2010 from the main office. You must be on the grad list and all fees paid in order to pick them up.
If grads require additional tickets, they may place their name on a waiting list. Extra tickets will be available Thursday, June 17 at a cost of $10.00 each (subject to availability) and must be picked up by the end of Tuesday, June 22. We will meet the needs of the wait list and any remaining tickets will be made available to the general public on Wednesday, June 23 - first come first served.

GRAD Gown? |
A refundable CASH deposit of $80.00 must be paid in advance to Ms. J. Dozeman or at the Main Office.
Gowns may be picked up June 24, 25 & 28 from the Cosmetology room.
Please note: All fees must be paid and books returned to the library.
Gowns must be returned immediately following the ceremonies to Ms. J. Dozeman. Any gowns not returned at that time will be considered sold and your deposit forfeited.

Photographer? |
A professional photographer will be taking a picture of each grad as they receive their certificate and one of each grad and their escort during the Grand March. These photos will be available for pick up from the school office in the fall of 2011.
In addition, a schedule is posted in the school’s office to sign up for ‘Family / Friends / Sweetheart Pictures’ on Graduation day at MacDonald Island between 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. You will receive a CD of the photos on site.

GRAD Video? |
The day’s events will be professionally captured on DVD. You can pre-order a copy from the school office or a table will be set up at MacDonald Island. The cost is $35.00 per copy. This video will be available for pick up from the school office in the fall of 2011.

GRAD Bios? |
We are still missing a number of Grad Bios. Bios are read during the Ceremony when Grads walk across the stage to receive their certificate.
Email carolyn.dozeman@fmpsd.ab.ca to ensure that the school has received your Bio.

Baby Photos? |
Please submit a copy of a baby photo for the grads at the Main Office ASAP. These photos will be in the yearbook and also be placed on a wall beside each grad's Grade 12 photo during the ceremony at MacDonald Island. Grads are responsible to put their names on the backs of these pictures and to have someone pick them up at the end of the night.

Parent Letters? |
This letter was sent out to all parents/guardians of Grads of 2010. Please follow the directions of this letter and hand in to the front office in a sealed envelope ASAP! If this is not convenient for you, please email the letter to carolyn.dozeman@fmpsd.ab.ca
